The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 is currently underway and will be played up until March 8, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Zimbabwe’s Tony Munyonga produced one of the most breathtaking moments of the group stage against Australia. In the 18th over, Brad Evans bowled a good-length delivery angling into left-hander Ben Dwarshuis. He attempted to clear mid-wicket and slogged hard, but the timing was not perfect.

Munyonga, positioned at deep mid-wicket, reacted instantly. He sprinted swiftly to his left with the ball tailing away from him and launched into a full-length dive. He went fully airborne and parallel to the ground and stretched out both hands, completing a stunning catch inches above the turf. The dismissal of Dwarshuis for six runs proved crucial, halting Australia’s late surge and energising Zimbabwe’s fielding unit
