5 players Gujarat Titans might target at IPL 2026 auction

Gujarat Titans (GT) had a solid campaign in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, finishing the group stage with impressive performances, although they fell short against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Eliminator. The Titans’ top-order batters, Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill, and Jos Buttler, carried the team consistently, while Prasidh Krishna impressed with the ball.

However, GT faced challenges in the middle-order batting and certain bowling departments, areas that could be strengthened ahead of the IPL 2026 auction. Here are five players who could be strategic picks for GT.

The experienced Bangladesh left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman could be an ideal overseas addition for GT. The team struggled at times in the overseas bowling department, with Kagiso Rabada not consistently performing to expectations. Rahman’s ability to bowl in the death overs and provide breakthroughs with his variations makes him a strong candidate.

He is a T20 regular for Bangladesh and has participated in various leagues around the world.
