A seemingly harmless rapid-fire question segment featuring Pakistan batter Sahibzada Farhan has snowballed into a full-blown talking point across social media and television studios. Farhan’s unwavering choice of Ahmed Shehzad over several legendary names, including Sachin Tendulkar, not only surprised fans but also triggered laughter, disbelief and visible irritation during a televised panel discussion involving former Pakistan cricketers.
In the first clip of the viral video collage, Farhan is seen taking part in a casual interaction where he is asked a series of cricketing questions. It begins innocently, with the interviewer asking him to name his idol. Farhan promptly responds with Shehzad, a choice that already raised eyebrows given the presence of several all-time greats from Pakistan and world cricket.
The questions then shift into a “this or that” format. Farhan is asked to choose between Shehzad and Saeed Anwar. Without hesitation, he sticks with Shehzad. As the list grows bigger and more intimidating, the surprise only deepens. Names like Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma and finally Tendulkar are put forward, but Farhan remains consistent, choosing Shehzad every single time. What made the clip particularly striking was not just the final comparison with Tendulkar, widely regarded as one of the greatest batters the game has ever seen, but Farhan’s absolute certainty. There was no pause, no second thought, just a firm loyalty to his stated idol.

The second half of the collage shows a studio discussion where the anchor brings up Farhan’s choices in front of a panel featuring Basit Ali and Kamran Akmal. As soon as the anchor mentions that Farhan picked Shehzad over Tendulkar, the studio erupts in laughter.
While Kamran is seen smiling broadly and taking the moment in good humour, Basit’s reaction is far sharper. Clearly unimpressed, Basit interrupts and asks the anchor to drop the topic altogether, suggesting that the comparison itself was not worth discussing. His frustration contrasts sharply with Kamran’s light-hearted response.
Kamran, still laughing, delivers a line that instantly went viral: “Mere khayal se 99% ho gaya hai is jawab dene ke baad,” jokingly implying that Farhan must have lost his mind after giving such an answer. The remark, delivered with a grin, only added fuel to the online chatter.
