Abdul Razzaq responds after actress Tamannaah Bhatia clears the air on marriage buzz

Popular Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently addressed the persistent rumours linking her to former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, making it clear that the speculation was baseless.

In an interview with Lallantop, Tamannaah humorously apologized to Razzaq while explaining that their only interaction happened years ago during a jewellery store event in 2020.

The actress stressed that she has never dated Razzaq and that there was no truth to stories suggesting a marriage or relationship proposal. She described the viral gossip as “embarrassing” and pointed out how quickly misinformation spreads across social media platforms.

Tamannaah further highlighted the personal impact of such rumours, stating that while some fans may find them amusing, for those directly involved, it can become both uncomfortable and frustrating. She emphasized the need for greater responsibility in media reporting and urged audiences to be more cautious about believing unverified stories.

Responding to the ongoing chatter, Razzaq publicly clarified his side of the story during a recent event in Karachi. The former cricketer praised Tamannaah as a talented actress but firmly denied any form of personal relationship.

“It has been 12 years since I met Tamannaah Bhatia at an event. She is a very good actress, and she gave a very nice response,” Razzaq said, referring to her dignified dismissal of the rumours. He explained that their meeting occurred during a public function, and since then, they had no further interactions.

Razzaq also commented on the nature of online gossip, calling the internet a “fun place for rumours”, but expressed his respect for Tamannaah’s professionalism in handling the matter. His calm and measured response echoed Tamannaah’s sentiments, with both celebrities making it clear that the rumors had no foundation in reality.

The actress revealed that this was not the first time she had been linked to a cricketer, recalling similar baseless stories in the past involving Indian batting star Virat Kohli, which she also firmly denied.

Despite the rumours, both public figures handled the situation with humour and dignity, putting an end to the speculation. By addressing the issue directly, they have highlighted once again how viral misinformation can distort reality, impacting celebrities across industries.
