Abhishek Sharma worried about his makeup when photographers asked him to pose before the camera ahead of his appearance in 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'. Abhishek is set to appear in the show, which will also feature Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Gautam Gambhir. The episode featuring the Indian stars of the popular comedy weekly is likely to premiere on June 21, which is highly-anticipated by the fans.

In the video, which went viral on social media, Abhishek was wearing a black shirt and pants and entering the studio. He initially posed for an image and proceeded towards the hall. When the paparazzi asked him for a pose, Sharma asked them to meet him inside the building to capture him so that his makeup would not get ruined.

"Aake lo na, abhi mera makeup kharab ho jayega (Please click pictures when I return, my makeup will get ruined right now)," said Abhishek in a video that has been doing the rounds on social media and has gotten several likes and comments by the cricketer's fans.

The attacking opener has established himself in the Indian T20I team, especially after his great performance earlier this year in the series against England. The Southpaw did not have as good an IPL as one would have expected, though he played some terrific knocks, but lacked consistency.

In the match against Punjab Kings, the Amritsar-born smashed a terrific 141 off just 55 balls, which helped SRH to successfully chase the second-highest total in the history of the IPL. It is now the third-highest individual score for a batter in the league's history, only behind Chris Gayle's 175 in 2013 and Brendon McCullum's 158 in 2008.

In 13 innings, the SRH opener scored 439 runs at an average of 33.77 and a great strike rate of 193.39, including a century and two fifty-plus scores. He also bowled some economical short spells but remained wicketless in what turned out to be a disastrous season for the 2024 runners-up.
