Actress and model Shehnaaz Gill recently made headlines as she candidly opened up about the idea of marrying Indian cricketer Arshdeep Singh during an engaging conversation on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast. In an amusing exchange on The Ranveer Show, Ranveer humorously asked Shehnaaz if she was looking for a groom. Shehnaaz’s response was characteristically frank, questioning the need to find a husband and joking about the complexities it might bring. When Ranveer suggested Arshdeep Singh as a potential match, Shehnaaz reacted warmly to the idea, calling him “cute” and acknowledging his “funny” nature and strong personality as a bowler.
She jokingly expressed concern that Arshdeep’s bowling might intimidate her, highlighting the playful nature of their exchange. The conversation became a blend of humor and genuine warmth, with Shehnaaz noting the coincidence of Arshdeep being from Mohali, near her region.
“Ball marega mere sar pe bajega mere. Mere ko wapas se reply bhi nahi kar paungi usko,” Shehnaaz Jokingly said.

Arshdeep has established himself as one of India’s premier fast bowlers in T20 internationals. His calmness and precision in crunch moments, such as defending low totals in death overs, have earned him accolades and the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year award in 2024.
