Star all-rounder Sam Curran has been added to England's T20I squad for the upcoming series against South Africa and Ireland. For both the assignments, the English cricketer has been awarded a place for impressing everyone with his all-round abilities in the recently-concluded Hundred Men's 2025, where he played for the Oval Invincibles and played a huge part in their triumph.

Speaking of his performances in the Hundred 2025, Curran took 12 wickets from just nine matches and bowled at a frugal economy rate of 8.55. He contributed exceptionally with the bat as well, scoring 238 runs in eight innings, while his strike-rate remained at 176.29, which is fabulous to say the least. Curran last played for England during the tour of the West Indies in 2024, and has now returned after a 10-month hiatus.

Coming to the English squad, the one against Proteas will be led by Harry Brook, whereas, Jacob Bethell is set to captain his first for the Irish tour. Rehan Ahmed has also been included in the squads, as he too looked in fine touch during the recently-concluded 100-ball competition.
