APL 2026: Match 8, BB vs SVL Match Prediction – Who will win today’s APL match between Bhimavaram Bulls vs Simhadri Vizag Lions?

The Bhimavaram Bulls (BB) will want to maintain their great start to the 2026 Andhra Premier League when they take on the hosts Simhadri Vizag Lions (SVL) at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium on Saturday, June 13. Both sides come into the game on the back of contrasting forms.

BB have won their opening two matches of the new season, with their most recent triumph coming against the Royals of Rayalaseema on Thursday. They chased down 209 with more than an over to spare, thanks to healthy contributions from their entire batting lineup.

SVL, on the other hand, have suffered defeats in both of their opening two matches of the 2026 season. Amaravati Royals were the latest side to get the better of them, with the Vizag Lions failing to chase down 182 in the second innings.

The ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag offers favourable batting conditions, but the bowling sides are never out of the game completely, like other T20 venues in the country. Fast bowlers can get lateral movement with the new balls thanks to the stadium's proximity to the Bay of Bengal on the East. Dew can also be a factor which gives the chasing sides an upper hand in the game.

Hemanth Reddy (C), Bendalam Satvik, Bailapudi Yeswanth, Chennupati Teja, Challarapu Siva, Revanth Reddy (WK), Dheeraj Kumar, Mopada Ravikiran, Bhupathiraju Munish Verma, Satyanarayana Raju, Thota Sravan

Ricky Bhui (C) (WK), P Roshan Kumar Pavan, Dhanush Marthala, Nimmala Himakar, Maheep Kumar, Tripurana Vijay, Sriram Rakshann, Bodhala Vinay, Ganesh Chappa, Girinath Reddy, Pramod Kuma

Revanth Reddy is currently the tournament's third-highest run-getter, with 75 runs from two matches, striking at an unbelievable 220.59. This includes his top score of 44 from just 18 balls against the Royals of Rayalaseema in his previous outing in the Andhra Premier League.

Girinath Reddy has been impressive with the ball despite SVL's poor start to the 2026 season. The right-arm bowler has taken three wickets from the first two matches of the season at an economy rate of 8.29.
