India A (IND A) will take on Pakistan A (PAK A) in Match 6 of the ongoing Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha, Qatar, on Sunday, November 16.
The Jitesh Sharma-led India played their season opener against the UAE and clinched a comfortable 148-run victory. Opting to bat first, the Men in Blue posted 297/4 in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to knocks from Vaibhav Suryavanshi (144) and Jitesh (83*). In the chase, the UAE's Sohaib Khan was the lone batter to put up a fight, as the team was restricted to 149/7.
On the other hand, Pakistan A took on Oman in their curtain raiser and registered a narrow 40-run win after posting a healthy 220 in the first innings. The Irfan Khan-led team restricted the opposition to 180 and clinched their first win of the season owing to a brilliant bowling display.
The surface is expected to be balanced in nature. There will be some assistance for batters as well as bowlers. Seamers could find swing when the ball is new. As the pitch settles down, it could be conducive for batting. Dew could also play a key role in the second innings.
Priyansh Arya, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Nehal Wadhera, Naman Dhir, Jitesh Sharma(w/c), Ramandeep Singh, Ashutosh Sharma, Harsh Dubey, Yash Thakur, Gurjapneet Singh, Suyash Sharma
Yasir Khan, Mohammad Naeem, Mohammad Faiq, Maaz Sadaqat, Ghazi Ghori(w), Irfan Khan(c), Saad Masood, Mubasir Khan, Ubaid Shah, Salman Mirza, Ahmed Daniyal
India A's opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi will be riding high on confidence after his match-winning ton against the UAE in their first game. The southpaw will hope that his bat does the talking once again against arch-rivals Pakistan. A. Suryavanshi will also look to provide his team with a solid start.
Pakistan A pacer Ubaid Shah bagged three wickets in the tournament opener against Oman. With a good performance in his previous outing, the right-arm seamer will once again be given the same responsibility to pick wickets at regular intervals and put his team in a good position.
