Star Indian batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma earned a lot of plaudits for signing a fan's jersey outside the team hotel in Australia on Thursday, October 16. The eight-match white-ball series between Australia and India is set to commence on Sunday, October 19.
Kohli signed a Royal Challengers Bengaluru jersey and that of Team India, Rohit, who was already sitting in the bus, came out of the vehicle to fulfill the fan's request. Rohit gave the fan his autograph after Kohli had done his bit and entered the bus.
The fan, named Sahil, was interviewed after he received signatures from the two legends of Indian cricket. He expressed gratitude towards Kohli and Rohit's gesture.
"It was lovely meeting Kohli. I have met him before as well. He is very humble. I had just asked him once. Same for Rohit, who was already sitting on the bus. I just signaled him, requesting for an autograph. I mean that's a lot," stated Sahil, who hails from Karachi (Pakistan), as per RevSportz Global.
As far as the series is concerned, India will play three ODIs, which will be followed by five T20Is. There will be a lot of eyes on Rohit and Kohli as both of them will be playing their first international match after the 2025 Champions Trophy final in the UAE earlier this year.
