AUS vs IND : Shivam Dube sends Adam Zampa out of the park with massive six in 4th T20I

In an electrifying moment during the fourth T20I between Australia and India, all-rounder Shivam Dube showcased his brute power, launching a colossal six off Adam Zampa that had fans on their feet. The shot came on the second ball of the 11th over, and it perfectly captured Dube’s reputation as one of the most dangerous hitters against spin in modern T20 cricket.
Australia’s premier leg-spinner Zampa, who had been mixing up his lengths cleverly, tossed one wide of the off-stump — a tempting delivery designed to draw Dube into a mistimed shot. However, Dube read it brilliantly. With his trademark long reach and incredible bat speed, he sent the ball soaring high and deep over long-on, clearing the ropes with ease.
The commentators were in awe of the sheer timing and power behind the hit, while the crowd at the Carrara Oval erupted in cheer. The ball travelled well beyond the boundary ropes, landing several rows back in the stands.
Zampa, who has often been successful against Indian batters, could only smile wryly as Dube confidently looked down the pitch. The shot served as a reminder of how destructive the Mumbai-born left-hander can be when he gets going.

Despite Dube’s fireworks, India’s batting lineup faced steady pressure from Australia’s disciplined bowling unit. The visitors ended their innings at 167/8 in 20 overs, setting up a competitive total on a good batting surface. Shubman Gill top-scored with a well-compiled 46, anchoring the innings with classy stroke play, while Abhishek Sharma contributed 28 with aggressive intent at the top. However, the middle order faltered slightly as Australia’s bowlers struck at crucial intervals to halt India’s momentum.
Among the Australian bowlers, Nathan Ellis was the standout performer with figures of 3/21, showing excellent control and variation at the death. Zampa, despite being hit for that huge six, managed to pick up 3 wickets for 45 runs, continuing his knack of breaking partnerships in key moments.
