Ben Cutting picks All-time T20 XI - Four Indians get the nod but no Pakistani player included [Exclusive]

Ben Cutting has been a force to reckon with in T20 cricket. The Australian all-rounder recently played in the International Masters League earlier this year. Cutting has rubbed shoulders with some of the best T20 cricketers of all time. In 212 T20 games, Cutting has amassed 2921 runs and accounted for 137 wickets.

The 2016 Indian Premier League winner picked his all-time T20 XI during a recent interview with CricTracker. He named Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma as his openers. The iconic Virat Kohli was slotted in at No. 3, with his close friend AB de Villiers to follow.

The legendary MS Dhoni was named as the captain and wicketkeeper of the lineup. The 44-year-old is the first captain to win the T20 World Cup and is still plying his trade in the IPL.

Cutting, being a seam-bowling all-rounder himself, picked West Indies' Andre Russell and Australia's Shane Watson for the role. While Russell is considered one of the most destructive all-rounders of all time, Watson was known for stepping up in pressure situations. No cricket fan will be able to forget his resilient century in the 2018 IPL final against Sunrisers Hyderabad, where he battled through pain to take Chennai Super Kings home.

As far as the spin-bowling department is concerned, Cutting went for Afghanistan's Rashid Khan and West Indies' Sunil Narine. Coming to the seamers, Cutting picked fellow Mumbai Indians teammates Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga. Both of them are known for their lethal skills while bowling in the death overs.

Interestingly, Cutting couldn't find a place for any Pakistani player in his team. Four Indians, three from the West Indies, and one each from South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka, also made it to the team.
