Sylhet Titans will take on Noakhali Express in Match 4 of the 2025-26 Bangladesh Premier League at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet on Saturday, December 27.

The Titans were involved in a last-over thriller against Rajshahi Warriors on December 26. Parvez Hossain Emon's cameo was undone by a blazing ton by skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto. Mohammad Amir stood out by conceding only 30 runs in his four overs.

The upcoming contest will be the Express' second match. They are one of the new teams added to this year's competition. From Johnson Charles to Kusal Mendis, there are several match-winners with the Express in addition to the likes of Soumya Sarkar, Hasan Mahmud and Jaker Ali.

Although the venue has been more supportive to teams batting first in the past, the two freshers might be tempted to field first to better assess the conditions at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.Pacers will be expected to utilise the new ball and reap benefits if they land the ball in the right channels.

These two teams have been freshly added to the BP and the upcoming encounter will be their first meet.

Saim Ayub, Rony Talukdar, Hazratullah Zazai, Parvez Hossain Emon (wk), Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz (c), Ethan Brookes, Nasum Ahmed, Mohammad Amir, Khaled Ahmed, Ruyel Miah

Soumya Sarkar, Johnson Charles, Kusal Mendis, Shykat Ali (c), Mohammad Nabi, Jaker Ali (wk), Sabbir Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Ihsanullah, Nazmul Islam Apu, Rejaur Rahman Raja

Prior to his debut for the Titans, Saim Ayub registered scores of 22, 20, 13, 27 and 36 in the five T20Is played in November. He got off to yet another positive start against Rajshahi Warriors but could not convert it into a big score. The southpaw can be expected to be a threat to the opposition.

Ihsanullah has only played three matches so far in 2025. Although the right-arm quick is low on gametime, he has the potential to strike with the new ball and be a handy option at the death too.
