Brett Lee reveals what impressed him most about Rohit Sharma

Legendary Australian pacer Brett Lee has opened up about his battles with Indian cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, recalling what stood out to him when he faced the three batters at different stages of their careers.

Lee faced Rohit early in his international career and said the Indian batter's aggression immediately caught his attention. When asked what he saw in a young Rohit, Lee offered a direct assessment of the batter's approach to the game, according to Business Today.

"Aggression; he didn't back down. Lee's recollection underlines a trait that has remained central to Rohit's batting throughout his career. Even as a young international, he was willing to take on fast bowlers rather than retreat from the contest," said Brett Lee about a young Rohit Sharma on the BeerBiceps podcast.

Lee has long admired Rohit's batting technique, particularly his ability to dominate short-pitched bowling with controlled aggression. "Rohit Sharma is one of my favourite players to watch, especially the pull shot," he continued.
