Broadcast details for ICC U19 Men’s World Cup announced

The ICC has announced the details of its broadcast arrangements for the ICC U19 Men’s World Cup, which sees 16 teams compete for the right to be crowned champions.

With three matches taking place on the opening day, fans across the world will have the chance to soak up the action via the ICC’s direct broadcast partnerships with world class broadcasters, with live coverage across all matches available globally.

In India, JioStar continues to bring pictures to fans through Star Sports on linear television networks and via the JioHotstar digital platform. The Star Sports linear channels are also available to viewers in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Nepal and Bhutan.

Coverage of every match will be available in English, with each India match available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

In Sub-Saharan Africa, SuperSport will cover all matches live via their linear and digital platforms.

In the Americas, ESPN (Caribbean and South America) and Willow TV (USA and Canada) will broadcast the event across their linear and digital platforms, with ESPN’s coverage also available via the Disney+ app.

Coverage will be aired by Sky Sports in the United Kingdom, Amazon Prime Video in Australia and Sky TV in New Zealand.

Elsewhere, coverage will be distributed by e& through the Criclife channel on Starzplay and linear TV (Middle East & North Africa), Dialog (Sri Lanka), Myco, Tamasha, ARY Zapp and Tapmad (digital broadcast in Pakistan), PTV and Geo Super (linear broadcast in Pakistan), TSM via Rabbithole (Bangladesh), AF Sports and Lemar TV(Afghanistan) and PNG Digicel (Pacific Islands).

Linear broadcast arrangements are also in place within Singapore (Starhub), Malaysia (Astro) and Hong Kong (PCCW). Digital coverage in these territories, plus Afghanistan and all remaining territories, will be covered by the ICC’s owned and operated streaming platform, ICC.tv .

The ICC TV host broadcast coverage will provide world feed pictures to all global broadcast partners and Jiostar will be responsible for global distribution of the world feed.

This is part of the ICC’s commitment to taking cricket to more fans across the world, enabling more fans in these markets to enjoy the sport whilst building ICC.tv as a cricket destination.

World feed audio coverage will be available for the semi-finals and the final through the ICC website and mobile app globally and via BBC TMS in the UK.
