CPL 2025: Match 10, SLK vs TKR Match Prediction – Who will win today’s CPL match between SLK vs TKR?

The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025 moves further as the Match No. 10 between Saint Lucia Kings (SLK) and Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) is all set to be played on Sunday, August 24 at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, in Gros Islet, St Lucia.
Saint Lucia Kings (SLK), who are also the hosts for the upcoming clash, will be fighting to go further up on the table. They are currently the fourth placed side on the leaderboard with three points from two games, but a win will help them massively, taking them to the first spot. As a result, they will be gunning to register a comfortable win against the Trinidad & Tobago-based franchise.
Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR), on the other hand, currently find themselves at the fifth spot, after winning and losing a game each out of their couple of matches thus far. They will be aiming to better their position on the table with a win against a strong Saint Lucia-based squad on Sunday.
The pitch at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium is among the best for the batters, and they will be enjoying their time in the middle. However, spinners are likely to make a mark in the contest as the ball wears out. A first-innings' score to the north of 200 can be considered to be a winning total on this surface. Hence, the captain winning the coin flip should opt to bat first on Sunday.
Johnson Charles, Tim Seifert (wicketkeeper), Ackeem Auguste, Roston Chase, Tim David, Delano Potgieter, David Wiese (captain), Alzarri Joseph, Keon Gaston, Khary Pierre, Tabraiz Shamsi
Colin Munro, Alex Hales, Nicholas Pooran (captain and wicketkeeper), Keacy Carty, Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Akeal Hosein, Nathan Edward, Sunil Narine, Mohammad Amir, Usman Tariq
Colin Munro seems to be in a terrific form with the bat in the ongoing CPL 2025. With 164 runs under his belt from just two outings, he seems to be in great shape, boasting a strong average of 82.00 and a thunderous strike-rate of 218.66. Scoring just seven more runs in this contest will also take the batter from New Zealand on top of the highest run-getters of the season list.
In only a couple of games played thus far, Usman Tariq has been largely impressive with his deceptive spin bowling. He has accounted for six wickets at an economy rate of 8.75. He has already taken a four-wicket haul in the season, and a similar performance will help his side register their second win in this year's campaign of the marquee T20 league.
