Dhanashree Verma, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal‘s ex-wife, recently made several candid revelations about her troubled marriage and subsequent divorce during her appearance on the reality show ‘Rise and Fall’ and in various podcasts.
Dhanashree discussed the early struggles in the relationship, including a major infidelity claim, as well as the quick and mutual process of their separation. Speaking on the reality show ‘Rise and Fall’ during a conversation with actor Kubbra Sait, Dhanashree disclosed a key moment when she realized her marriage was a mistake. When asked when she knew the relationship wouldn’t work, she candidly replied, “First year. Caught him in the second month.” This referred to an alleged cheating incident that occurred very early on, just two months after their wedding in December 2020. She stated that the relationship was troubled from the very beginning. The couple, who connected during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, filed for divorce by mutual consent in February this year, with the marriage formally ending in March.
Yuzi Chahal should file a defamation case against Dhanashree Verma.
Even after divorce and taking alimony, she's defaming him for clout.
If she caught him cheating just after two months, then how did she stay with him after that?

Earlier, Dhanashree addressed the rampant public speculation surrounding her divorce, particularly the rumors about alimony. She clarified that the divorce process was quick because it was mutual and vehemently dismissed the speculation. Reflecting on the emotional turmoil of the separation, she recounted the moment the divorce verdict was delivered on the ‘Humans of Bombay’ podcast: “Even though we were so well-prepared mentally, I got so emotional. I started howling in front of everybody. I couldn’t even express what I was feeling at that point. He (Chahal) walked out first.” She concluded her thoughts on the public scrutiny by affirming her decision to move on and focus on personal well-being, saying, “Why waste time explaining to those who don’t even know you?”
