Central Delhi Kings (CDK) lock horns with South Delhi Superstarz (SDS) in match No. 11 of the ongoing Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Thursday, August 7.
Jonty Sidhu-led Kings have had a fantastic start to the season. They find themselves at the top of the standing, having won their first two games in DPL 2025. In their first game of the season, they got the better of North Delhi Strikers by eight wickets. The Kings followed it up with a nine-wicket win against New Delhi Tigers in their most recent fixture.
Meanwhile, the Superstarz have been on the opposite end of the spectrum. Ayush Badoni's men started their campaign with a five-wicket defeat to East Delhi Riders. In their following clash, they were comprehensively beaten by West Delhi Lions, who chased down a 186-run target in 15.4 overs with eight wickets to spare.
The pitches so far at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in DPL 2025 have been balanced, with something in it for both the batters as well as the bowlers. 200-plus scores have been registered in only three out of the first 18 innings in the season. Six out of the first eight games have been won by chasing teams.
