DPL 2026: Match 32, PD vs NDS Match Prediction – Who will win today’s DPL match between Purani Dilli 6 vs North Delhi Strikers?

The Purani Dilli 6 (PD) will be going up against the North Delhi Strikers (NDS) in Match 32 of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026, which is scheduled to be played on Tuesday, August 18, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

Purani Dilli sits in third place on the table, having played eight matches, winning four and losing three. They were beaten by the Outer Delhi Warriors in their last match, losing by 31 runs. The Strikers are placed in fifth place, with three wins and losses apiece in seven matches. Their last match against the Central Delhi Kings saw them suffer an eight-wicket loss.

The two teams have already met once this season, with Purani Dilli emerging victorious by four wickets. The Strikers put on a competitive total of 186 for 6, which was chased down despite a slow start for Purani Dilli. They reached home with just three balls to spare in a thrilling contest.

The Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi is considered as one of the most batting-friendly venues in the country. The wicket is on the flatter end and offers consistent bounce, allowing batters to play their shots on the up. Bowlers can get help in the form of early lateral movement with the new ball, and grip and turn for spinners. These factors, however, are negated by the shorter boundaries. The tournament has seen a sizeable number of high-scoring matches despite the impacts of rain.

Strikers skipper Sarthak Ranjan has been one of the leading run-scorers in the tournament and has been his side's key batter, leading from the front. He has scored 350 runs in six innings, striking at 166.67. Of the six games he has played, he has scored half-centuries in five of them, which included a well-made 59 when the two teams last met. He will be looking to continue the run as the business end of the season approaches.

Seam-bowler Rajneesh Dadar has been a key strike bowler for the Purani Dilli side, picking up nine wickets in seven matches. He has bowled at an economy of 10.18, but has still been a regular wicket-taker and will be looking to extend his tally of runs.
