DPL 2026: Match 6, WDL vs PD Match Prediction – Who will win today’s DPL match between West Delhi Lions vs Purani Dilli 6?

West Delhi Lions (WDL) square off against Purani Dilli 6 (PD) in match No. 6 of the ongoing Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Monday, August 3.

Ayush Doseja's West Delhi Lions have played just one game so far in which they registered a 19-run win against the North Delhi Tigers on Saturday. The Lions defended a 171-run target on the back of a disciplined bowling performance.

Meanwhile, Anuj Rawat's Purani Dilli 6 lost their first match of the season to Central Delhi Kings by four wickets. The King chased down a 203-run target with five balls to spare. While Rawat and Dev Lakra were brilliant with the bat, the Purani Dilli 6 bowlers couldn't back them up in the second innings.

The Arun Jaitley Stadium is doing no harm to its reputation of being one of the most high-scoring grounds in India. In the first three games of the season, the average first-innings score has been 179. The captain who wins the toss would want to bowl first as defending totals in very difficult on flat pitches. Also, the boundaries are very short, leaving no room for errors for the bowlers.

Krish Yadav (WK), Ankit Kumar, Vikas Rana, Ayush Doseja (C), Mayank Gusain, Sombir Sheokand, Tishant Dabla, Manan Bharadwaj, Himanshu Chauhan, Kulwant Khejroliya, Shubham Dubey.

Rohan Rana, Samarth Seth, Aryan Gaur, Anuj Rawat (C & WK), Dev Lakra, Lalit Yadav, Pankaj Jaswal, Ashwini Chillar, Digvesh Singh Rathi, Rajneesh Dadar, Rohan Rathi.

Anuj Rawat had the best possible start to a season from an individual's point of view. He scored a majestic 105 not out off 59 balls, helping his team get past the 200-run mark with a magnificent display of batting. The southpaw hit 11 fours and five sixes during his epic knock.

The experienced left-arm seamer Kulwant Khejroliya had a terrific outing in the last game. He bowlers four overs, picking up one wicket at an economy rate of 6.25. Khejroliya's spell, especially with the new ball, could prove to be defining.
