ECB announces schedule for 2027 Men's and Women's Ashes series, WTC Final's venue and dates also shared

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have announced the schedules for the 2027 Men's and Women's Ashes series on home soil. Both sides will be looking to regain the historic trophies from their arch-rivals, Australia, next year.

The Men's Ashes series will commence on Friday, June 18 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. England Women's, on the other hand, kickstart their multi-format series against Australia with a one-off Test match at Headingley in Leeds.

Along with the schedule for the highly anticipated series, the ECB have also announced the dates for England Men's and England Women's other international series. The Men's white-ball side, led by Harry Brook, will play 10 One Day Internationals (ODIs), five against Pakistan and New Zealand in the lead-up to the 2027 Cricket World Cup in southern Africa.

Apart from England fixtures, details about the upcoming 2027 World Test Championship (WTC) final have also been revealed. The showpiece game of the 2025-27 WTC cycle will take place at the iconic Kennington Oval in South London from June 9. Surrey's home ground played host to the final in 2023 when Australia defeated India by 209 runs.
