Abhishek Sharma had an underwhelming World Cup campaign but followed it up with a brilliant season in the 2026 IPL and looked in blistering form against Ireland. He scored 563 runs in 15 matches, striking at 204.72, as the Sunrisers Hyderabad made the playoffs. He has been a constant presence at the top of the order for the Indian team, providing fast starts and taking bowlers on with ease.

Abhishek averages 48 and strikes at 214.92 against the Three Lions and will be expected to maintain his stellar record.
