ENG vs IND 2026: England vs India Highlights & Review – 4th T20I

England made light work of the run chase to secure their third consecutive victory against India in this five-match T20I series. Following their nine-wicket win at the County Ground in Bristol, the Three Lions have sealed the series with one more match remaining.

After winning the toss and batting first, the Indian batters once again struggled to score runs freely on a slowish pitch. Captain Shreyas Iyer, however, was the star of the show, scoring the only half-century of the innings. The right-handed batter, however, lacked support from the other end as India kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Opening bowlers Josh Tongue and Jofra Archer both took two wickets each to continue their excellent seasons.

In reply, England chased down the 159 with relative ease to take home the series. After losing Jos Buttler early, Phil Salt, along with captain Harry Brook, took control of the second innings. Both scored half-centuries, with the Welshman building on his 70 from the previous match.

England captain showed why he is regarded as one of the finest all-format batters with a blistering half-century in the second innings. The right-handed batter hit 79 off 35 balls. The innings included eight fours and four sixes; the 27-year-old struck at 225.71 to take his side home.

Jofra Archer continued with his excellent form this series after yet another match-winning bowling display. The right-arm seamer took two wickets from his quota of four overs whilst conceding just 20 runs. He remained a menace for the Indian batters throughout the game.

England skipper Harry Brook was named Player of the Match after making light work of the run chase and helping the home team secure the series.

The fifth and final T20I between England and India will take place at the Rose Bowl in Southampton on Saturday, July 11.
