Despite the celebratory mood, Arshdeep had been ruled out of the Old Trafford Test due to a finger injury, specifically an impact injury to his left thumb while bowling in the nets at a training session in Beckenham. However, the good news for the tall left-armer and Team India is that Arshdeep has been named in the squad for the fifth and final Test at The Oval against England.
