England batter Danni Wyatt-Hodge and her partner, Georgie, have been blessed with a baby girl, whom they have named Daisy.
The right-handed batter and her partner have been married to each other since August 2024, and have now welcomed a baby girl. It was earlier in the month of December that the couple announced that they were expecting a child.
“Our beautiful girl is here and she is everything we could have dreamt of and more. Welcome to the world Daisy James Wyatt-Hodge. 20.05.26, 7lb4. We love you endlessly,” the couple said while sharing the image of their newborn girl.

It is worth mentioning that Wyatt-Hodge is the second high-profile England Women's cricketer to become a mother to a child with her wife. In 2025, captain Nat Sciver-Brunt, along with her wife and former international cricketer, Katherine Sciver-Brunt, welcomed a baby born.
With their baby on the way, Wyatt-Hodge decided to miss the white-ball series against New Zealand to spend some time with her family. The 35-year-old, however, has been named in the England squad for the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup played on home soil.
Before taking a break from cricket to spend time with her family, Wyatt-Hodge was in excellent form whilst representing her Surrey in domestic cricket. The England international had scored 378 runs from five innings at an average of 75.60, whilst striking at 130.79 playing in the Metro Bank One Day Cup. This included hitting two centuries, coming against Warwickshire (124 off 80 balls) and Hampshire (119 off 86 balls). The right-hander also scored 96 against Durham at the Kia Oval in April.
Wyatt-Hodge will be expected to play a crucial role as England look to win their first T20 title since winning the inaugural tournament in 2009. The Lionesses are currently competing against New Zealand in a three-match T20I series, where they won the first game in Derby by seven wickets.
