Adil Rashid suffered a 31-run pounding in his final over during the second T20I of the ongoing three-match series between England and West Indies at the County Ground in Bristol. The leg-spinner ended up conceding 59 runs in his four-over spell. This became the third instance where 31 runs were taken off an over in T20Is.
The first three balls of the over were pounded by Jason Holder towards the on-side. He tried hitting the fourth delivery for another six. However, all the all-rounder could manage was a thick inside edge to short fine leg. Romario Shepherd joined the party and struck the final couple of deliveries for back-to-back maximums.
