Promoted to No. 3, Klaasen seized the moment, hammering an unbeaten 105 off just 39 deliveries, including 7 fours and 9 sixes, and etched his name into the IPL record books.

Klaasen reached the three-figure mark in just 37 balls, equalling Yusuf Pathan‘s record for the third-fastest century in IPL history. The milestone came on the last ball of the 19th over, as he pulled an off-speed short delivery from Vaibhav Arora through midwicket for two easy runs.

He immediately removed his helmet, looked skyward, and raised his bat as the crowd in Delhi erupted in appreciation. It was Klaasen’s second IPL century, but arguably his most brutal and dominant innings yet.
