Former Bangladesh captain and current Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) vice-president Faruque Ahmed has been hospitalized in Dhaka following a cardiac arrest on Sunday, November 9. The player-turned-administrator is currently under medical observation in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) after undergoing an emergency procedure.
According to a Cricbuzz report, Faruque experienced severe chest pain around noon on Sunday and was immediately rushed to a local hospital. Hospital sources have since confirmed that his condition is stable, though he will remain under observation for the next few days as a precautionary measure.
