Former Indian cricket prodigy Unmukt Chand has entered a new chapter of his life, celebrating fatherhood with the birth of his son on September 27, 2025. Chand and his wife, Simran Khosla, shared the joyous news with fans on social media two days later, posting an intimate photograph that radiated warmth and happiness.

In the image, the couple cradled their son’s ultrasound, dressed in soothing blue tones, accompanied by an emotional caption: “Our miracle, our sunshine, our everything. Welcome to the world, baby boy.”

For Chand, this milestone holds immense personal significance. At 32, the cricketer has lived a journey filled with both triumphs and hardships. Known for his meteoric rise in youth cricket, he skyrocketed to fame as the captain of India’s Under-19 squad that clinched the 2012 U-19 World Cup against Australia, sealing the victory with an unbeaten 111 in the final — his third consecutive century in the tournament’s climax.

Chand’s cricket career began precociously, making his Ranji Trophy debut while still in school, soon scoring a majestic 151 in his fourth match. His entry into the Indian Premier League (IPL) came at 18 years and 15 days, drawing comparisons to Virat Kohli for his youth leadership credentials and U-19 success.
