'He reminds me very much of Sachin Tendulkar' - Former England star on Harry Brook

Former Australian cricketer Greg Chappell has likened Harry Brook to young Sachin Tendulkar. Australia are all set to take on arch-rivals England in a highly-anticipated five-match Test series, scheduled to get underway on November 21.
Ahead of the series, Chappell revealed that he was the most excited to watch Brook bat in the Ashes. Chappell said that watching Brook bat on television reminded him of Tendulkar's flair when he had just entered the international arena.
"For me, Harry Brook is the interesting one. I've seen a bit of him on television, I'd like to see him live. He looks a really good player, his record suggests that he is a good player and he's averaging 62 [57.55] in Test cricket so far, that's a pretty impressive record. I've watched him bat on television and he reminds me very much of Sachin Tendulkar in Sachin's early part of his career," stated Chappell, as quoted by cricket.com.au.
The ex-Australian skipper also pondered on how he would react to conditions in Australia if he was touring the country for the first time for a red-ball game.
"Very minimal movement early on, picks off the angles really well and can score off most deliveries - there's not many deliveries that he can't score off. Australia has historically been a test for English battters to adapt the first time around and how he adapts will be interesting to watch," he added.
Brook is currently the vice-captain of England's Test side. He has scored 2820 runs in 30 matches (50 innings) with 13 fifties and 10 hundreds to his name.
The Three Lions have failed to win a single Ashes match in Australia since the 2010-11 series. They will aim to break their jinx and put in better performances with bat and ball in the series. The first Test is scheduled to get underway on November 21 at the Perth Stadium.
