Abhishek Sharma has revealed former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan as the one behind his unique 'chit celebration' during an IPL 2025 clash against Punjab Kings earlier this year. Abhishek had scored a scorching 141 off 55 in the game which was eventually won by Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets. Abhishek revealed how Dhawan had invited him to his house to have a chat on the power of manifestation.

"Shikhar Dhawan had told me that manifestation is important, just manifest that you have already done it. He invited me to his home to have this conversation. He made me start writing in a diary. One thing is visualizing that 'I will do it', and the other is to visualize that 'I am doing it'. That 'I am the best player of India, I have won many matches for the team', he made me write this," stated Abhishek during an appearance on Breakfast with Champions.

Abhishek also shared that he had a habit of journaling on each matchday prior to the commencement of the game. He also conceded to not remembering whether he had placed his chit in his pocket up until he got to his ton.

"I do journaling before every game in the morning. So instead of that, I thought of writing on a chit. I wrote 'This one is for Orange Army'. I kept it in my pocket. When I got to my fifty, I did not remember I had it. I kept playing and the moment I made a hundred and celebrated, I remembered it and took the chit out," he added.
