Phil Salt managed to keep hold of the ball during Match 65 of IPL 2025 at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow to dismiss Abhinav Manohar for an 11-ball 12. It was Salt's second catch of the evening after having grabbed a chance to senf back Abhishek Sharma.
Manohar attempted to pull a slower delivery by Romario Shepherd, however, all he managed to do was miscue it towards deep midwicket. Salt had his eyes glued to the ball. After spilling the ball on the first attempt, he recovered well and instantly redeemed himself as he crouched and kept the ball in his grip.
