Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Pat Cummins made a funny moment as well as a heartwarming gesture involving his Australian teammate, Mitchell Marsh. The moment occurred after SRH’s recent clash against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
In the shared video, Cummins is seen carrying a placard of Marsh while boarding the team bus. With a big smile on his face, Cummins passionately said ‘My Man’ while holding the banner. This became a lighthearted moment among teammates and the fans.
The video has been garnering a lot of attention after it was shared by the Sunrisers Hyderabad on their official 'X' handle. Meanwhile, both SRH and LSG have been officially eliminated from the IPL 2025 (Indian Premier League). Notably, SRH were eliminated earlier in the tournament, and with their win over LSG, the Lucknow-based franchise too was also knocked out of the league.
India Test captain and squad are likely to be announced
Sunrisers Hyderabad have two fixtures left in their campaign. They will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on 23 May, followed by their final match of the season against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Similarly, LSG will conclude this year’s tournament with matches against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 22 May, and RCB at their home ground on 27 May.
As the IPL 2025 playoffs approach, three teams have already sealed their spots: Gujarat Titans (GT), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and Punjab Kings (PBKS). The race for the fourth and final spot is between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Delhi Capitals (DC). The two sides will face off at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 21 May. A victory for MI will secure their playoff qualification, while DC must win both their remaining matches against MI and PBKS to keep their hopes alive.
