IPL 2025: Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma enjoy game of Pickleball, pictures go viral

With the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 playoffs coming close, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru's star batter Virat Kohli took some time off to enjoy a game of pickleball with his actress wife, Anushka Sharma. The couple was seen displaying their paddle skills on the court during a special RCB bonding session.
The event was organised indoors in Bengaluru as continuous rain disrupted RCB's outdoor training schedule. With the city waterlogged and a yellow alert in place, the team was forced to look for alternative ways to stay active. Along with Kohli and Anushka, RCB batting coach and mentor Dinesh Karthik and his wife, squash star Dipika Pallikal, also gave a go at the recreational sport.
In the pictures shared by RCB, Kohli was seen 'high-fiving' Anushka after the couple won a point. Other RCB stars, including Phil Salt, Mayank Agarwal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jitesh Sharma, and Liam Livingstone, were also seen playing.
Meanwhile, RCB have already qualified for the IPL 2025 playoffs, making it their fifth appearance in the last six seasons. They currently sit second on the points table with 17 points, behind table-toppers Gujarat Titans, who have 18. However, the fight for a top-two finish is still active, with Punjab Kings also tied at 17 points. The final standings could depend on net run rate (NRR).
Due to constant rain in Bengaluru, RCB's final home fixture against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), initially scheduled for May 23 in Bengaluru, has been moved to Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium. They will also play their last league game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the same venue on May 27.
