Another intriguing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) concluded on Tuesday, June 3, as Punjab Kings (PBKS) lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by six runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the final.

Sai Sudharsan came of age in IPL 2025, showcasing consistency of the highest order. The Gujarat Titans (GT) opener amassed 759 runs from 15 innings at an average of 54.21 and a strike rate of 156.18. The Tamil Nadu-born registered six half-centuries during the season and also notched up his second IPL century, scoring an unbeaten 108 off 61 balls against Delhi Capitals on May 18.
Sudharsan became the youngest player to score 700-plus runs in a single edition of the IPL. He got to the 700-run landmark at the age of 23 years and 227 days. He surpassed his captain Shubman Gill's record of scoring 700-plus runs at the age of 23 years and 257 days, who achieved the feat in a dream 2023 season.
