IPL 2026: CSK vs GT, Match 37 - Top player battles to watch out for

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be hosting Gujarat Titans (GT) in Match No. 37 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the historic MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, on Sunday, April 26.
CSK enter this clash with momentum following a massive 103-run victory over the Mumbai Indians. Led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, the team has found stability in their middle order, spearheaded by the in-form Sanju Samson, who recently smashed a clinical, unbeaten century.
Gujarat Titans, on the contrary, are looking to steady the ship after a tough five-wicket loss to RCB. Captain Shubman Gill has been the pillar of their batting department, consistently providing solid starts, but the team is seeking more support from the lower-middle order. Despite their recent slip, the Titans' bowling unit, led by Rashid Khan, remains one of the most disciplined in the league.
Dewald Brevis, despite his mixed form, remains one of the deadliest batters going around in the league. His attacking game against spinners in the middle-overs makes him a real game changer. But he will come up against one of the best spinners in the world.
Rashid can trouble any batter with his masterful bowling. In four innings so far in their head-to-head, Brevis has scored 30 runs off 25 balls off Rashid Khan.
