Delhi Capitals will look to continue their winning streak in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, while the Gujarat Titans will be searching for their first points. The two teams square off at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday, April 8.
The Capitals are coming into this clash on the back of consecutive victories against Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians. Meanwhile, the Titans have started with defeats against Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals.
Both teams have some proven match-winners in their ranks. It's just that the Capitals have fired as a unit, while the Titans have been let down by their experienced stars. This clash has all the ingredients of being a must-watch.
Mukesh Kumar has been in fine form with the new ball. He bowled brilliantly without much luck in the game against Lucknow. However, he was rewarded for his consistency in the game against Mumbai. He dismissed left-handers Ryan Rickelton and Tilak Varma.
Mukesh will look to continue his purple patch against left-handers inside the power play when he bowls to Sai Sudharsan. Last year's Orange Cap winner, Sudharsan, scored a magnificent 73 in the last game and will look to contribute handsomely once again on Wednesday.
