Punjab Kings (PBKS) pulled off the highest successful run chase in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, defeating Delhi Capitals (DC) by six wickets at Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 25.
After winning the toss, DC opted to bat first and posted a massive 264/2 in 20 overs. KL Rahul led the charge with a stunning unbeaten 152 off 67 balls, smashing 16 fours and nine sixes at a strike rate of 226.87. He was well supported by Nitish Rana, who scored 91 off 44 balls, including 11 fours and four sixes at a strike rate of 206.82. For PBKS, Arshdeep Singh and Xavier Bartlett picked up one wicket each.
In response, PBKS chased down the target in just 18.5 overs, finishing at 265/4. Prabhsimran Singh provided a blistering start with 76 off 26 balls, hitting nine fours and five sixes at an incredible strike rate of 292.31. Captain Shreyas Iyer anchored the chase with an unbeaten 71 off 36 balls, including three fours and seven sixes at a strike rate of 197.22. For DC, Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/46 in four overs.

With this win, PBKS remain the only unbeaten team this season, securing their sixth victory in seven matches and sitting at the top of the table with 13 points. DC, meanwhile, are placed sixth, with three wins from seven games.
