The Gujarat Titans host the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 46 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The Titans return to action at home after a four-wicket victory over the defending champions, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. They bowled RCB out for 155 courtesy a brilliant performance with the ball. They were dented in the chase by consistent wickets, but were able to make their way through with four wickets in hand. They sit in fifth place on the points table with five wins in nine matches, and at ten points sit in a position to make a late push for the playoffs.
The Punjab Kings were handed their first loss by the Rajasthan Royals, where they chased down a total of 223. They reached 222 courtesy of a late 22-ball 62 from Marcus Stoinis, but were unable to defend the total as the Royals started their innings in fine fashion, and Donovan Ferreira finished the game with an unbeaten half-century. They sit in first place on the table, with 13 points from eight matches. They will be hoping to seal a berth at the top to increase their chances of a playoff spot.
The two teams met in their opening match on March 31, where the Kings emerged victorious. The Titans scored 162/6 in their innings. The Kings lost their way in the chase with wickets in the back end, but Cooper Connolly on debut scored a brilliant 72 off 44 balls and remained unbeaten to take the Kings home.
