Gujarat Titans (GT) are set to face the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the latter's home ground - BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium - on Sunday, April 12.
Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans started with a couple of defeats, but they would hope that the hard-earned one-run win against the Delhi Capitals would serve as the doorway to a resurgence. Ahead of the win against Delhi, the Titans suffered defeats at the hands of the Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals.
On the other hand, the Lucknow Super Giants lost their campaign opener to the Delhi Capitals, but bounced back in style with thrilling wins against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders. They will hope to stretch their winning streak to three on Sunday.
Shubman Gill has already scored 109 runs in two games at an average of 54.50 and a strike rate of 151.39. His opening partner, Sai Sudharsan, has struck at 158.07, with one fifty from three games. Jos Buttler played a blinder of a knock in the last game, which proved to be decisive in beating the Delhi Capitals.
