IPL 2026: Match 14, DC vs GT Match Prediction – Who will win today’s IPL match between Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Titans?

In Match No. 14 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, Delhi Capitals (DC) are going to go up against Gujarat Titans (GT) for a fierce encounter on Wednesday, April 08, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
Delhi Capitals have looked brilliant in both the games they have played thus far. They first beat Lucknow Super Giants in their campaign opener, which was followed by a thumping victory against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk. They then followed it by keeping Mumbai Indians under their feet. In their upcoming clash, a win can help the Delhi-based franchise register a double hat-trick of victories.
On the other hand, Gujarat Titans have not managed to fair decently in their campaign in the ongoing edition of the cash-rich event, despite playing a couple of closely fought contests. They lost to Punjab Kings in the opening clash in New Chandigarh and then tasted defeat against Rajasthan Royals in a last-over thriller. They will be looking to get the first two points under their belt in the upcoming match.
The historic venue of the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi is known to assist spinners, especially during the first half of the match. The pitch here, however, gets better for the batters as the match progresses. There has to be a calculative decision for the teams batting first here, as setting a subpar total will not help them defend it, especially with an underpowered bowling attack.
KL Rahul (WK), Pathum Nissanka, Nitish Rana, Axar Patel (C), Tristan Stubbs, David Miller, Vipraj Nigam, Lungi Ngidi, Kuldeep Yadav, T Natarajan, Mukesh Kumar
Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill (C), Jos Buttler (WK), Washington Sundar, Glenn Phillips, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Ashok Sharma, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna.
If there is one thing that hasn't gone Delhi's way in the ongoing season, it has to be the form of KL Rahul, as the opening batter started with a golden duck against PBKS, followed by yet another two-ball duck against Mumbai Indians. If Rahul clicks in the upcoming match, it will be of huge help to not only him but his franchise as well.
Kagiso Rabada bowled 11 dot balls in his four-over spell against the Rajasthan-based franchise, and that seemed to have made a difference in the first innings' total. Rabada has the excellent ability to mix up his pace and variations with the white ball notwithstanding the years of experience he has under his belt. The South African international is expected to be the best bowler on Wednesday.
