IPL 2026, Match 56: Gujarat Titans vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Match Preview

Gujarat Titans (GT) square off against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in match No. 56 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, May 12.
The Titans have played 11 matches and have seven wins so far. Shubman Gill and Co. are currently sitting at No. 3 on the points table. They are on a magnificent winning streak of four matches. They defeated the Rajasthan Royals by 77 runs in an away fixture on Saturday, May 9.
Meanwhile, the Sunrisers Hyderabad are placed at No. 2 in the standings, only behind the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Pat Cummins' men started with three defeats from four games. However, they have bounced back tremendously, winning six out of their last seven matches.
The first three games played at the Narendra Modi Stadium saw fantastic batting surfaces. However, the pitches have slowed down considerably in the last few games. Three out of the five games have been won by chasing teams. The captain who wins the toss would want to bat second and assess the conditions.
