Rovman Powell provided the late flourish with an unbeaten 39 off 24, helping the hosts finish strongly on a tricky surface.

Their openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram got starts but failed to convert, while captain Rishabh Pant also could not make a significant impact. However, Ayush Badoni kept Lucknow in the hunt with a crucial 54 off 34 balls, anchoring the innings amid regular wickets.
