IPL 2026: Mumbai Indians' strongest predicted XI against Royal Challengers Bengaluru

The Mumbai Indians will take on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Match 20 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The hosts will be eager to build momentum after a mixed start to their campaign.
Led by Hardik Pandya, MI have had an inconsistent run in the early stages of IPL 2026, winning one and losing two of their three matches so far. They started their campaign with a win against Kolkata Knight Riders and followed it up with a disappointing loss to Delhi Capitals in Delhi. MI slipped again in their most recent clash against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati.
With pressure gradually mounting, the five-time champions will be keen to register another win and gain some much-needed momentum. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bengaluru will look to capitalise on MI’s inconsistencies and continue their push up the points table.
This Mumbai Indians top-order of Rohit Sharma, Ryan Rickelton, and Suryakumar Yadav promises fireworks. It consists of three of the best power hitters going around in T20 cricket, but the performances have been mixed from them as of now. After MI’s match against KKR, Rohit, Rickelton and Suryakumar have struggled to give their team a strong start. Despite that, Hardik Pandya’s side will go in with the same top-three against RCB.
