They have struggled to find rhythm and consistency this season and are still searching for momentum. The five-time champions will be eager to capitalise on home conditions and get back to winning ways in front of their fans.

Mumbai Indians are expected to welcome back Rohit Sharma into the playing XI as an Impact Player. Having averaged over 45 this season, his return will be a significant boost for the five-time champions. He is likely to open the innings alongside Quinton de Kock, who has already registered a century this season.
