IPL 2026: PBKS vs RR, Match 40: Stats preview of players' records and approaching milestones

Punjab Kings (PBKS) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match No. 40 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on April 28 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur.
PBKS are in impressive form, sitting comfortably on the points table with six wins from seven matches. They recently registered a remarkable run chase against Delhi Capitals and have looked dominant in most of their fixtures. Riding on strong momentum, they will aim to continue their winning run and secure their seventh victory of the season.
On the other hand, RR are currently placed fourth, with five wins from eight matches. They are coming off a loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad and will be eager to bounce back. While the road ahead is challenging, the inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals will be determined to return to winning ways and strengthen their position in the top four.
