The Punjab Kings (PBKS) take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 17 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Saturday, April 11.
The two sides have a host of experienced T20 players in their ranks. The shortest format of the game is arguably the most played kind of cricket in the world in current times. This is mainly down to the advent of a host of franchise leagues all across the world. Players play T20 cricket so regularly in their careers that they are always near a few personal milestones in the 20-over format. This is also the case with the PBKS vs SRH game on Saturday.
PBKS, who come into the game unbeaten, have won two and had their third game abandoned due to bad weather in Kolkata. A lot of their batters are nearing personal landmarks, while Arshdeep Singh is close to a major IPL milestone.
SRH, on the other hand, have had a rollercoaster of a start to their IPL 2026 campaign, losing two and winning one match. A host of their hard-hitting top order batters are close to landmarks which they are very much capable of achieving should they bat for a few overs.
