IPL 2026, Qualifier 2: Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals Match Preview
The Gujarat Titans (GT) square off against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur on Friday, May 29.
The Titans missed out on a direct final spot after suffering a heavy 92-run defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Qualifier 1. Having finished second in the league stage with nine wins, GT now get a second bite at the cherry. Standing in their way are the surging Rajasthan Royals, who booked their place in this knockout fixture with a clinical 47-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator.
Both teams met twice during the league phase of the 2026 season, walking away with one win each. The Royals edged out a six-run thriller in Ahmedabad, while the Titans bounced back with a comprehensive 77-run victory in Jaipur.
