Rajasthan Royals will take on Lucknow Super Giants in Match No. 32 of the Indian Premier League 2026 on April 22 at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.
The inaugural champions started the season strongly with four consecutive wins against Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. However, they have since lost their last two matches, going down to Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders.
RR will now aim to bounce back from this dip in form and return to winning ways, with a victory that would secure their fifth win of the season and further strengthen their position on the points table.
Rajasthan Royals have built one of the most promising opening combinations this season with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi at the top. Jaiswal has scored 223 runs in six innings, while Sooryavanshi has been even more productive with 246 runs in six innings. Both batters have registered two fifties each, consistently providing quick starts for their franchise.
At No. 3, Dhruv Jurel has played a crucial role in stabilizing and accelerating the innings when needed. He has scored 181 runs in six matches, including two half-centuries, and has also contributed with match-winning performances.
