The Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on the Gujarat Titans in Match 34 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The defending champions lost to Delhi Capitals in their last game at home. They endured a rare batting collapse, courtesy of brilliant bowling from Delhi spinners. Despite this, they have been one of the sides to beat in the tournament and will be expected to recover their form. Phil Salt has found form with half-centuries in two of the last three games, bolstering the batting from the get-go. They find themselves in third place on the table, with four wins and two losses in six games.
The Titans were handed a 99-run hammering by the Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium on April 20, a loss after a winning streak of three games. They were beaten comprehensively, with their middle order issues coming to the fore after their big three of Sai Sudharsan, Jos Buttler and captain Shubman Gill were dismissed in the powerplay. They still possess one of the more potent bowling attacks of the tournament and will hope the runs once again come at the top of the order. They find themselves in sixth place, with three wins and as many losses in six games.
The two teams have played each other six times, and have won three encounters apiece. They have competed in tightly-fought games against each other, and with the star power in both teams, the upcoming episode of this clash also promises to be exciting.
This is RCB’s final home game in Bengaluru, with their next two home games to be held at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. They will be hoping to cap off their Bengaluru leg with a victory.
